Where we work.

Most of our work is within an hour of the studio and there is a practical reason for that rather than a policy one. These are wet finishes applied in coats over several days, with cure time between them and a sample panel agreed before any of it starts. That means multiple visits and multiple visits only work when we are genuinely local to the site.

Beyond that radius the arithmetic changes but the answer is often still yes - it depends on the size of the job. A single feature wall four hours away is not something we would take on honestly. A full commercial fit-out, a specified scheme for an architect, or a whole-house project anywhere in the country is a different proposition and we travel for those regularly.

Day-to-day territory

• London - all boroughs. Townhouses, penthouses, restaurants and hotel interiors, worked to the site discipline the capital's programmes demand.
• Kent - Bromley, Bexley, Sidcup, Dartford, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding villages.
• Surrey - Croydon, Sutton, Reigate, Epsom, Guildford, Esher and the commuter belt.
• Essex, Hertfordshire, Sussex and Berkshire - regularly, on projects of a reasonable size.

Commercial and specified work, UK-wide

For architects, interior designers and shopfitters we work nationally. Hospitality, retail and workplace fit-outs come with their own constraints - phased handovers, out-of-hours access, RAMS for every site and a programme that has to interlock with a dozen other trades - and those are the same wherever the building is. We issue specification support from first drawings and will attend design team meetings remotely or in person.

What we will tell you honestly

If a job is too far away to do properly, we will say so and where we can, point you at someone closer who does good work. A finish like this is only as good as the attention it gets between coats and we would rather turn a project down than take it on a schedule that guarantees a compromise.

Samples travel further than we do

Wherever you are, sample panels can be couriered and we would rather send one than have a colour chosen from a screen. If you are outside the areas above and want to see the material in your own light before deciding anything, ask - that part we can do anywhere.
